Dungeons & Dragons: The Philosopher's Stone Mythos History

Iama Tath is the force of evil currently affecting the prime material plane. He was created when the general perspective became "Who am I?" and represents the separation of Self from the rest of cosmos. As such, he is Ego personified. The Great Deceiver is always looking to usurp the power of Love, which he realizes is only possible by changing the perspective of Reality. For this reason, he conspired with the Not-Self, The Nothingness of Inanna Cthulhu, to create Free Will personified in the form of Rzeznik Maya.

Once humanity had the ability of Choice, Iama began to lure humanity into exaltation of self through materialism. It is only through the power of the Christ/Buddha consciousness, as represented by Simon Christopher, that anyone is able to resist Iama's lies.
