To
put it simply, Hermes Trismegestus is thought personified.
Although he can (and very often does) appear in any form,
due to the current masculine dominated perspective his preferred
natural state is the form of a tanned, muscular, androgynous
male with a full, silvery beard and long, flowing hair.
He has moose horns coming from the side of his head, and
a glowing green flame on his chest representing his immortality.
When the general perspective of humanity shifts to a feminine
dominated culture (as in the last Atlantis), Hermes appears
as a dark female figure, whose skin glows with the depths
of the universe, and is known simply as Mother.
Hermes
is the creative force in the universe: it is his thoughts
which create the prime material plane we live in. He does
this using The Philosopher's Stone; the Stone is manifestation
personified. Hermes Trismegestus is the One Mind, The Stone
is the One Thing. He is the one who created Souls, and although
he has allowed each and every one a free will, it is always
his hope that each one will return to him. An eternal trickster,
he is always testing Souls - pushing them to achieve their
best. Even when a Soul finally surrenders and returns to
him, there will always be difficulties and challenges. The
only difference lies in the knowledge of 'why' this is all
happening giving a beutiful peace of mind.
The
Philosopher's Stone contains The Akashic Record, a 6-dimensional
holographic image of all that was and is, all that can be
and all that cannot be. What one sees when peering into
the Stone depends on that one's personal perspective. Everyone
sees something different. Hermes, being the sum of all thoughts,
sees all perspectives of creation.
